To provide opportunities such as recreational, social, and educational activities and resources for low-income children and families at-risk in the Greater Dallas Metroplex and Navarro County areas.
While nurturing children’s educational, recreational, and social needs, we also strive to deepen children’s commitment to prosocial values such as kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect for others and improve their overall quality of life.

Mission Statement: Shirley Charles Foundation (SCF) is a non-profit organization established to enrich the lives of low-income individuals by providing needed community services in the Greater Dallas Metroplex and Navarro County areas.

- Provide opportunities for the families of children receiving services through SCF such as budgeting, credit repair, nutrition education, job readiness, and homebuyer education.
- Provide follow-up and tracking of youth receiving services from developmental ages to post-graduation from high school.
